Flat screen TVs, a Waterfall, Other Distinct Features
Coming to Campbell Avenue McDonald’s

Big Mac and fries fans will be glad to know that the renovation of the Campbell Avenue McDonald’s restaurant is on schedule and a reopening date has been set for June 24. Restaurant owner Joseph Rodriquez says he has a few surprises in store for diners. “This certainly will not be your typical McDonald’s,” he says.

Four flat screen TVs, including one over a double-sided fireplace decorated with mosaic tiles, will be the focal point of the restaurant, along with a waterfall and a café offering specialty drinks and coffees. An Internet lounge and conference area will include hookups for laptops. But don’t worry, diehard burger lovers: The traditional McDonald’s fare isn’t going anywhere.

Rodriquez says he designed the restaurant with UNH students in mind. He plans to have a special UNH grand opening when students return in the fall. Click here to see construction photos.
