Orientation Checklist

  1. Submit a Registration Form for the SOAR program
    Note:     Registrations are required for both students and parents

  2. Student and parent has received confirmation for assigned date

  3. Arrange air transportation (if necessary)

  4. Hotel reservations made for parents attending Parent Orientation

  5. Pack clothes for both days (comfortable shorts or pants recommended)

  6. Pack comfortable shoes (you will be on your feet a lot)

  7. Students should pack sheets and pillow (or sleeping bag), towel, toiletries, fan, and alarm clock

Did you remember to:
  • File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)?
  • Return your housing agreement, meal plan agreement and roommate questionnaire?
    Note: These forms will be mailed to you in May
  • Schedule an appointment for your physical and required immunizations?
    Note: All resident students and student athletes are required to have a meningitis immunization.
  • Return all Health Services forms by July 15th.
  • Take the practice placement tests?
