The day began inside Rockefeller Plaza with backstage studio tours including the “Today” show, MSNBC and “NBC Nightly News,” and concluded with the late-night talk show’s rehearsal and final taping.
Merrifield spent several hours helping the props department prepare for the show (including one involving a dozen or more frozen turkeys), while Buechele participated in an on-air bit with The Amazing Kreskin, one of the world’s most well-known mentalists. All of the students had the opportunity to meet Jimmy Fallon and talk with him after the show.
