West Haven, Conn., September 28, 2009– University of New Haven (UNH) dental hygiene student and Pawcatuck, Conn. resident, Christine Saraceno '11, was recently selected as a Colgate Oral Health Advisor for her essay on the value of toothpaste in patients’ home-care regimens.
As a Colgate Oral Health Advisor, Saraceno will be provided with a wide range of tools to help educate patients. She has also garnered a $5,000 scholarship donation from Colgate for the UNH Dental Hygiene Program. She plans to serve as a student representative at an inaugural meeting of the Colgate Oral Health Advisory Board during an all-expense-paid trip to New York City in October.
