University of New Haven (UNH) Associate Provost, Dr. Christie Montgomery-Boronico, of Southbury, Conn., has been selected to receive the University of New Haven Excellence in Academic Support by a UNH Staff Member Award. Montgomery-Boronico was one of eight faculty and staff members selected for the 2008 Faculty Excellence Awards by the Office of the Provost. Each award includes a cash prize of $1,000 and a commemorative plaque.
The criteria for the Excellence in Academic Support by a UNH Staff Member Award include demonstrated excellence in the assistance of UNH students and faculty in their academic pursuits over a significant period of time.
