University of New Haven (UNH) Professor of Engineering, Dr. Carl Barratt, of East Haven, Conn., has been selected to receive the University of New Haven Excellence in Service Award. Barratt was one of eight faculty and staff members selected for the 2008 Faculty Excellence Awards by the Office of the Provost. Each award includes a cash prize of $1,000 and a commemorative plaque.
The criteria for the Excellence in Service Award include outstanding service to the university or the community and excellence in contributing to the recipient's profession.
