Division II Community Engagement
The University of New Haven and the Department of Athletics are increasing their efforts to provide community engagement within the West Haven community. As an NCAA Division II member institution, we strongly believe that through community engagement, we can direct the energy and spirit of winning student-athletes to positively change society-- as they change themselves.

UNH is committed to developing students and communities by actively engaging in shared experiences. Community engagement activities are key to providing a comprehensive educational experience for students and strengthening the link between Division II athletics programs and their local communities.

If you have an idea for a community engagement project involving the University of New Haven Department of Athletics contact Associate Director of Athletics Sue Zawacki at 203-932-7357 or szawacki@newhaven.edu.
