The University of New Haven offers 15 undergraduate certificates and 40 graduate certificates.
Take the first step toward an undergraduate or graduate degree by registering for one of the certificates offered by the university. In order to be considered for admission to a certificate program, students must follow the traditional application process. To learn more about the application process, please visit Undergraduate or Graduate Admissions.
Each certificate is carefully designed as a concentrated introduction to a particular subject area and consists of courses totaling twelve or more credit hours. While certificate programs can generally be successfully completed with only 12 credits of coursework, some courses needed for certificate completion may have prerequisite requirements. Students must satisfy all necessary prerequisite coursework, if applicable, prior to starting the desired certificate program. In some cases, prequisite coursework may be waived or substituted with the permission of the student's academic advisor.
