Morningstar Direct is a database of mutual funds, indices, country funds, etc.  It has analytical capabilities that allows client portfolio formation, financial planning and other analyses.  This program is acquired and installed recently as a replacement of Principia, the mutual fund database.  Morningstar Direct is more powerful and is an used in the industry.  Come and learn its capabilities from our vendor's consultant.

The College of Business and the Management of Sports Industries Program invite you to join the Associate Commissioner of the Big East Conference, John Paquette, for an open discussion of how a major college  sport conference works. Before joining the Big East, Paquette was an assistant athletic director at Seton Hall, and worked at the Metro Atlantic Conference, St. Peter's College, and Wagner College. He lives in Providence Rhode Island. His son Phil attends the University of New Haven where is a member of the sport industries club.

Morningstar EnCorr is a database of stock indexes, bond indexes, interest rates, exchange rates, and other economic series compiled from different sources.  EnCorr also has analysis modules.  EnCorr Analyzer performs descriptive statistics, regression and graphic analysis.  It also generated inputs that can be fed into other modules such as Optimizer and Allocator.  Optimizer calculates portfolio weights to optimize investment with respect to risk and return.  The Allocator performs simulation of investment performance with different assumptions.  Come and learn these capabilities from our vendor's consultant.
