Tourism & Event Management

Introduction
Tourism is a major factor in the economy of many nations, and the need is growing for consultants and professionals who can provide in-depth guidance and direction for this rapidly expanding industry. Travel and tourism may be the world's largest industry, accounting for considerable percentages of domestic product, capital investment, and consumer spending worldwide.

Located between New York and Boston, two of the most prominent U.S. tourist gateways, the University of New Haven offers students a unique vantage point from which to study the tourism industry.

The bachelor of science degree in tourism and event management will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be hired for management positions in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
