The Application Process

  • First YearEchlin light The University of New Haven has a rolling admissions process. This means that students can apply for admisson at any time throughout the year and receive a decision shortly after submission of all required materials.

    Although there is not a particular deadline, it is recommended that students apply as early as possible since space in some of our academic programs tend to fill up quickly. Typically the Office of Undergraduate Admissions begins to review applications as early as October 1 for admission the following fall.

    Students have the option of applying directly to the major of their choice or applying as Undeclared. Applications will not be reviewed until all required materials are received.

    The University of New Haven has a rolling admissions process, which means that we do not have a specific deadline. This allows freshman students the opportunity to apply anytime during their senior year of high school and allows transfer students to apply anytime throughout the year. However, we recommend that you submit your application as early as possible, as applications are reviewed until programs are filled.

     

    Our application process varies by type of applicant, and the admission requirements vary based on the applicant's educational history and intended major. Applications will not be reviewed until all of the required information has been received.
